Fashion in Paris
So it is true, people do dress very well in Paris. And not only that, they are daring, but because everyone else around them is daring in the same way, it’s the norm here. I wish I could’ve brought my wardrobe with me, and worn all the things I was too scared to wear in Vancouver because I totally would’ve fit in here - not implying that I dress ‘very well’, but just...

The internet in my room is so horrible
I haven’t looked through my dash in AGES. It takes forever to load and I know I’m missing out on some quality blogging. I feel like my whole time in Paris is gonna be like this. Sad, really. How awful!

Anonymous asked: Sorry, I've watched your video, stunning! I've never looked the aspect of such gestures so far. even though I usually act so. I caught just one mistake in phrases, I love you too: "ben de seni seviyorum". As far as I've heard, you pronounce it something like "bady seni seviyorum", however the letter "e" is always pronunced same as e in "bed"....

I am so frustrated with this whole stupid French...
I have met very few people who are willing to speak English, or who are willing to speak in French slowly. I can only speak very basic French and my ability to comprehend it is so terrible so I also ask them (in French) to speak slowly, but no one does. It’s so frustrating. I can’t figure out how to work the phone in my room. Even though I’m following the English instructions...

I am in my twenties in Paris
I should love this… but the people I want to experience this with aren’t here and it’s making it difficult to adjust. I am sure it will come with time though.

Things I would discourage everyone against:
If you’re doing a semester abroad or anything, don’t go away (for an extended amount of time) the semester before your study abroad semester. It creates absolute chaos because there is very little time to get through everything that needs to get done. I guess if I wasn’t sick the first week and a half I was back home I might not have been rushing to get everything done, but...
