Things I would discourage everyone against:
If you’re doing a semester abroad or anything, don’t go away (for an extended amount of time) the semester before your study abroad semester. It creates absolute chaos because there is very little time to get through everything that needs to get done.
I guess if I wasn’t sick the first week and a half I was back home I might not have been rushing to get everything done, but thanks to the illness I’m left with no time to do anything. It’s quite upsetting. Ah, well. Would’ve been nice to be able to hang out with some of my loved ones but I mean, it’s okay, it’ll be worth it at the end of the day I’m assuming.
