I have met very few people who are willing to speak English, or who are willing to speak in French slowly. I can only speak very basic French and my ability to comprehend it is so terrible so I also ask them (in French) to speak slowly, but no one does. It’s so frustrating.

I can’t figure out how to work the phone in my room. Even though I’m following the English instructions step by step. I got a cell phone without understanding what the fuck was going on because the person I bought it from and I couldn’t communicate obviously so now I have no idea whether I have free incoming calls or not. I met a girl today who said all French phones have free incoming calls. Hmm. Really?

The internet connection here sucks. Like seriously. I can’t skype with anyone because it doesn’t connect, and if it does it shuts down after two seconds. Wtf?!

And right now I finally decided I am going to try and translate (on google) the guide at the MEC gave me but right at this very instant it decided that the translator wouldn’t work. WTFFF. Grrrr.

Oh and I was trying to call reception because my toilet (of all things) broke. Wtf? I want to go home.

I also am not getting enrolled in any classes that I need for transfers. Everything that I am in will only transfer for a 200 level IS class at SFU while I need 300 level ones. If I can’t get the classes I need wtf was the point of coming here anyway?!
